SCREEN CONTENT
What Peekat looks at
To show the windows you choose on its dashboard, Peekat uses macOS Screen Recording permission. It only captures the windows you add in the app. Captured images are processed in memory on your Mac to display them and to notice when they change. They are never recorded, saved to disk, or sent anywhere.
DATA ON YOUR MAC
What stays on your device
Peekat keeps its settings on your Mac: your preferences, and the list of windows on your dashboard (app names and window titles) so it can restore them next time. If you choose a custom background picture or video, Peekat keeps a copy of that file in its own app folder. None of this leaves your Mac. Deleting Peekat removes it.
THIRD PARTIES
Sharing
Peekat contains no third-party SDKs, analytics, or advertising, and shares no data with anyone.
CHILDREN
Children’s privacy
Peekat does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
